Kaup: Padur works on part-B division completed

Kaup;Dec 16: Addressing the press reporters in a press meet held  recently  in  contractors SKE-C and  KCTJV’s Padur office, Korean origin company’s project manager Jin Ma Lee said in his statement that works on part-B division strategic storage of crude oil project at Padur, third storage  unit in the country has successfully been completed.

He further said that first time in Asia without any catastrophe at the cost of around Rs 3759 crore, Rs 10 crore protections of man-hours of energy, crude oil storage unit was constructed by drilling boulders underground. For this efficiency of works ISPRL has given letter of appreciation to SKE-C and KCTJV and ISPRL and Engineers India Limited have awarded special honor for the company, he said.

SKE-C is South Korea based company whereas KCT Kolkata based company. Padur project by making two parts contract has been awarded and in Part –A HCC and in part B SKE-C and KCTJV were given contract in 2009-10.

On the occasion, prizes were distributed to the staff and workers, who have sincerely discharged their duties in a well disciplined manner.

Chief of ISPRL Veerabhadra Rao, Co-project managers of SKE-C and KCTJV, K.M.Prasanna, M.E.Park, Y.W.Sang and among others were present.
