Mangalore, Dec 12: Mangalore South MLA J R Lobo visited Pumpwell along with other officials and examined the proposed bus stand area and the road issue faced by the 1700 residents of Ram Nagara, Vasanth Nagara, Maroli, Jayanagara etc, here on Thursday, December 12.
He also received memorandum and heard grievances from the locals, at the spot. Large number of locals too gathered, as it has been the major issue faced by them.
MLA promised the locals to take this issue seriously, discuss with the concerned officials and prepare a proper and permanent plan by January end and find a permanent solution to the problems.
MCC Commissioner Ajith Hegde Shanadi, Joint Commissioner, inspectors of various departments and other officials, Corporators Keshava Maroli and Praveen Chandra Alva, leaders Shashiraj Ambut, Gangadhar Poojary, Tejaksha Suvarna, Balakrishna kottari, Narayana Vailar, Satish, Vasudeva, Naveen, T K Sudhir, Dennis D’Silva, Krithin Kumar, Prabhakar Shriyan and many others were present.
