Kundapur; Dec 07: A spectacular ‘Brahmaratotsava and Astothara Nalikera Mahaganapati Yaga’ (sacrifice) was celebrated in Aanegudde Shree Vinayaka temple with great excitement, enthusiasm and pomp.
On car festival day since morning millions of devotees started flocking into the temple, had God’s darshana and offered special poojas to appease God and sought blessings.
After the Mahamangalaarathi in the afternoon, thousands of devotees participated in the Brahmaratotsava celebration and expressed their devotion. All the devotees were served with Sharbat (Lime juice) and Annasantharpane (mass feeding).Thousands of devotees have witnessed the evening festival celebration and an attractive display of fireworks.
All the pooja rituals were held under the leadership of Aanegudde Shree Vinayaka temple’s hereditary trustee K.Suryanarayana Upadhyaya, hereditary priest K.Laxminarayana Upadhyaya, K.Ramana Upadhyaya and hereditary Paryaya priest K.Laxminaraya Upadhyaya and brothers.
Under the guidance of Kundapur DYSP C.B.Patil, and leadership of Kundapur police station inspector Diwakar, Asst.Inspector Jayaram.D.Gowda, Imran, assistant inspector, traffic police station, parameshwarappa and staff very wisely controlled the traffic and made hassle free arrangement for the free movements of the vehicles.
