Udupi; Dec 03: An incident of attacks on congress workers by BJP workers in connection with banner was reported on Dec, 03, Tuesday
It was said that when Vasu and Purandara, both are congress workers were in the advance process of preparation for some religious Naga Pooja programme in Bengre of Udupi taluk, a group of BJP workers came there, caught hold of collars of Vasu and Purandara and started beating on chest and on stomach backwards and forwards and threatened them that in case the matter is reported to the police, will enter the house and murder, said the victims of the attack.
The victims of the attack Vasu and Purandara have been admitted in Udupi government hospital for treatment and a case has been registered against the attackers in Malpe police station.
