Karkala; Dec;03: Under the auspices of Nitte’s Entrepreneurship Development Cell and Step in co-ordination with union government’s Science and Technology department, one month free training workshop will be held on CNC Lathe and Milling machine operation, programming and maintenance from 02.12.2013 to 01.01.2014.
After inaugurating the camp on Dec 02, Monday, Prabhakara Shetty, owner of Maithri Industries said in his address that these types of camps will be useful and helpful to get the current technical skills. Besides he added that along with education, hard work, dedication and if they engage themselves in such camps, definitely success is possible, he said. He shared experience of his own in setting up his own business with fellow students.
Y.N.Salian, Principal of Thokuru M.R.Poonja ITI said in his chief guest speech that if the students participate in programmes like this, it will not only help them in setting up their own business but also it helps in their professional life to reach to the pinnacle.
Dr.Niranjan.N.Chiplukar, Principal, Nitte engineering college, who presided over the function said in his speech that Entrepreneurship development cell is the fellow institution of Nitte institute of technology and under the guidance and direction of Vinaya Hegde, president of the institution, will organize training programmes in Diploma, ITI in different fields for the benefit of the students and educated unemployed students in the surrounding area of Nitte and Entrepreneurship development unit has been extending all possible help in setting up own business, he said.
Dr.Udaya Kumar, placement executive of Entrepreneurships development unit welcomed the gathering.Dr.I.R.Mitthanthaya,Chief of entrepreneurship development unit and vice principal of engineering college briefed about the benefits of the programme.Dr.Subramanya Bhat,HOD of mechanical division proposed the vote of thanks.Smt.Geetha compered the programme.
