Karkala: BJP stages protest in Kervashe condemning destruction of Modi banner

Karkala; Nov 27: In the wake of destruction of BJP candidate for prime minister and chief minister of Gujarat Narendra Modi’s giant banner by some trouble-maker, this was put dangling in Kervashe of Karkala taluk, BJP party workers staged a protest recently in Kervashe condemning the destruction.

While speaking BJP’s Yuva leader Vinod Kumar said in his address that for the future of the country everybody is supporting Modi and it is certain that he will the next prime minister. Realizing the fact that Modi will become the next prime minister, some politically motivated trouble-makers have done this evil job and demanded police department for an immediate arrest of those who have involved in this evil act, he said.

He further said that last week, Modi’s banner was destroyed in Jarkala Mandli and thereafter even Kervashe’s banner was also destroyed, which is highly condemnable, he added.

Such types of jobs should not happen in the state and in case it happens, BJP party workers will give befitting reply, he added.

Sudheesh Karnik, Dharmaraja Hegde, Harishchandra Tendulkar, Ramu sherigar and BJP workers from Shirlalu, Bajagoli and Kervashe have participated in the protest.
