Mangalore, Nov 18: Gujarat chief minister and BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is playing cheap politics to attack UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi said B Janardhana Poojary, addressing a press meet at the district Congress office here on Monday November 18.
Following the speech of Narendra Modi at a rally which was held in Bangalore on Sunday, Poojary challenged Modi to reveal his marital status. Did he marry or not? If he is married, where is his wife? What is her name? Where is she now?” He claimed that Modi’s marital status had been listed as ‘married’ in his bio-data and also in the voter’s list.
Commenting on Gujarat’s development, he said Modi had set out to develop merely industrial giants in the state and was blind to the problems and development of the poor and unprivileged. With regard to development of infrastructure, Gujarat ranks tenth in the country. The percentage of nourished children in the state is merely 45, he said.
Speaking about the facts given by Narendra Modi on IT field he said that during the regime of SM Krishna in Karnataka, the state was IT hub of country and was also appreciated by the prime minister of that time Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, adding this he said by giving false statistics to the people of this country, Modi has proved that he knows very little about the economics.
On Modi’s election campaign, Poojary said, “He has appointed a foreign company for 25,000 dollars to create publicity in the country. A few former US presidents too have joined hands with Modi. He is dreaming of winning the elections. Election is not a match to win so easily. Modi cannot become PM, he is polarizing the society. People will not accept him.”
