Karkala; Nov 16: In an incident reported in Mudaru village, wherein a wild pig attacked a farmer resulting severe injuries to him in Pakkibail of Mudaru village of Karkala taluk.
The injured has been identified as Yashodhara Poojary,aged 30,went to the nearby field as usual on Nov 16,Friday morning around at 6.30 am.As he was going towards fields, the wild pig which was taking shelter, all of a sudden pounced on Poojary,resulting serious injuries on his back and thighs.
Poojary was admitted in Karkala Pratibha nursing home for treatment.
