Karkala; Nov 16: Lamina-Kuntady road in Nitte village of Karkala taluk has completely deteriorated, resulting problems for the movements of the people. Rs 50 lac grant-in-aid has been released.
V.Sunil Kumar, MLA, after performing “Guddali Pooja” (hoe pooja), has launched the road works.
During the occasion, Praveen Salian,member of taluk panchayat,Naveen Nayak,president of Panchayat,vice president Shailaja.D.Shetty,Panchayat members like Suresh Poojary,Ratnappa Kotian,Suresh Bhat,Robert Mendonsa,Varija Bhandarthe,BJP standing committee president Suresh Rao,secretary Dayananda Shetty,Naveenchandra Jain,Raghuchandra Bhandary,Prashant Kumar Jain,Muralidhar Verma,contractor Shubodh Hegde were present.
