Nitte Institute of Banking and Finance inaugurated at Derlakatte

Mangalore, Nov. 9: Nitte Institute of Banking and Finance was inaugurated by G Gopalkrishna, executive director of Reserve Bank of India at Derlakatte on Saturday, November 9.



In his address,  Gopalkrishna said  the commercial bank staff need  to  be equipped with better skills and knowledge to face the competition in the field.




S.R.Bansal, Chairman and Managing Director of Corporation Bank, was also present as a chief guest. In his address he said training to bank staff will enable them to deal with problems and challenges efficiently and ensure better customer service.




Dr.N Vinay Hegde, Chancellor of Nitte University, in his presidential address said that youth who opt for a career in the banking field should have a flair for sincere customer service. They should work according to their conscience and always bear in mind the fact that an institution is above an individual, he further added.



Sudhir Kumar Jain, syndicate bank chairman and managing director, Dr. N.K Tingalaya, former chairman of Syndicate Bank, Dr Shantharam Shetty, pro-chancellor of Nitte University, Dr Ramananda Shetty, vice chancellor, Vishal Hegde, trustee of Nitte Education Trust, Dr M.S Moodittaya, Dr Rajashekhar, staff development director  and others were present.

These institute are nothing except earning money from banks through their fellow ex colleagues by giving training in spite of every bank have its own good infrastructure for training on which they are spending crores of money every year .some months back one EX CMD opened BQA in mangalore from where he got the money to open that academy ? That is question of inquiry . It is surprising that ED of RBI do not know that each and every bank is giving training to its staff,through various programs. RBI must give training to CMDs and EDs for saving public money and declaring actual NPA position .
