Kundapur; Nov 09: Addressing the press reporters on Nov 08, Friday at Kundapur, Vinaya Kumar Sorake said in his address that Shirur NH66 is deteriorated to the extent that in some places we can see massive ditches and trenches.
In places like Thallur,Sangam,Mullikatte,Aarate,Shiruru market area tar of the roads have been removed completely and making the look of the road so ugly and become not travelworthy.Thereby movement of the vehicles become so tough and unbearable. Due to this, accidents, deaths, injuries become very common sight on daily basis
Renovation requires Rs 84 lac, work starts from Nov 16-Sorake:
Vinaya Kumar Sorake, minister for urban development said in his address that Rs 84 lac has been sanctioned from the department for the repair and maintenance work of highways and by Nov 11, tendering process will be completed. The NH renovation work will start between 15-16, he added.
