Udupi; Nov 06: Paryaya Sodhe Matadheesha Shreevallabha Theertha Swamiji has inaugurated 6th year’s “Chittani Yakshagana Sapthaha” under the auspices of Udupi Paryaya Shree Sodhe Vadiraja Mutt jointly organized by Bangaramakki Shree Veeranjaneya Yakshamithra Mandali and Guest artists in Rajangana.
Vinaya Kumar Sorake, minister for urban development and district in charge, who presented as chief guest of honor said in his address that contribution towards arts by Chittani Yakshagana is immense. Whatever the awards won by them, is the honor of our land. In order to retain their name immortal this type of programmes are essential, he said
Padmashree Chittani Ramachandra Hegade, while speaking said that special honours, awards given by the art lovers will help to enhance the responsibility of the artists. By this way, it is possible to an artist to reach his pinnacle. In Udupi, it has got its due value, recognition and habitation. That is why, here Yakshagana lover’s number has been improved.
