Belthangady, Nov 5: It is a shocking that political parties of the coastal districts have kept silence on the case of Sowjanya’s rape and murder, said Satishchandra, Kasargod district Secretary of the CPI(M).
Addressing a convention of the party at Ambedkar Bhavan here on November 4, Monday, he said the CPI(M) will continue its fight until justice is secured in the case.
The meeting resolved to sensitize the public on the anti-people policies pursued by the state and Central governments.
BM Bhat, District Secretariat Board Member of the party, Haridas, District Committee President, Shivakumar, Taluk Secretary and others were present.
