Puttur, Oct.31: The rape and murder case of Sowjanya is the proof of insecurity of the woman in the society. Such incidents also took place in Puttur . The government immediately hand over the case to the CBI, otherwise we will protest around state, Arun Kumar Puttila the president of Namo Bharat warned.
He spoke at the protest meet against the Sowjanya’s rape and murder, staged by Vishwa Hindu Parishat, Bajarangdal at Puttur on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
The co convener of Bajarangdal Mangalore Murali KrishnaBhat Hamsatadka said that if the incident like Sowjanya’s rape and murder continues we only will take action towards the criminals. We will cut of the hands of the criminals he warned.
BMS rickshaw driver and owners organisations former president Devappa Gawda, the district convener of Bajarang Dal Dinesh Kumar Jain also spoke at the programme.
Sowjanya’s mother Kusuvathi also took part in the protest and said with tears that until the real criminals get punishment Sowjanya’s soul dint get peace.
Before the protest meet there was a silent march from Darbe circle to deputy division officer’s office. The president of BMS rickshaw driver and owners organisation Suresh Sudhakar Nayak inaugurated the march.
Sowjanya’s father Chandappa, members of various organisations Dikayya Peruvodi, Dhanya Kumar Rai, Sankappa Gawda, Premalatha Rao, Madhava Poojary, Shiva Kumar were present the protest meet.
