Mangalore, Oct. 29: Four persons sustained injuries, in a collision between a lorry and a bus at a Paniru near Derlakatte in Ullal police station limits on October 28, Monday afternoon.
The lorry driver was identified as Prakash while bus driver Sharif and students of Nitte Pharmacy College student Manish, lorry cleaners Valerian and Babu sustained minor injuries.
The lorry loaded with stones was speeding towards Madoor from Derlakatte while the bus ferrying students of Nitte Pharmacy college was proceeding towards Derlakatte.
An electric pole nearby even rolled over the bus after it hit against the pole in a bid to avert a collision.
The accident disrupted traffic on the route for some time. Ullal police have registered a case.
