Udupi; Oct 15: The residents of district’s Kalayanpur village panchayat jurisdiction have been screaming for water for the last ten days. In places like Nejar, Kalyanpur pipe water is not coming for the past ten days. Angered residents staged a protest in front of the village panchayat.
President of the village panchayat, who came to the spot and promised the protestors that an adequate step will be taken to solve the water problem.
