Udupi; Oct 15: National social service (NSS) Vishwavidhya Nilaya’s 20011-13 award has been given away to Thenkanidiyoor’s government first grade college and post graduate study centre considering its incomparable service.
During the occasion of award giving ceremony, which was held at Mangalore Ramakrishna College, Prof.G.Yogananda, principal of the college has been conferred with chancellor prof.T.C.Shivashankar Murthy and state award winner Dr.Niketan has been awarded with Vishwavidhyanilays best organizing director.
Prof.Yedipathaya, Convener Prof.Vineetha Rai, Principal Dr.Naveen Shetty were present.
Earlier to this, Thenkanidiyoor College has bagged the state award two times for its NSS activities. Once it was qualified for Vishwavidhyanilaya award.
