Karkala:Oct 13: Participating in the valedictory function of NSS ‘s annual camp under the auspices of government pre-degree college,Hiriadka held on Oct 12,Saturday,at Padigara Banampalli government higher primary school,K.Jayaprakash Hegde,Loka Sagha MP said in his address that our personality will develop only when our thoughts are changed.
He further said that with the company of good people and good environment, our life will become beautiful. In this connection programmes like NSS camps will help in moulding our personalities, he said.
Ranganath Bhat, principal of the college presided over the function.
On this occasion Padigara Balakrishna Acharya, former SDMC president, who co-operated to NSS camp has been felicitated. Prizes have been distributed to the winners of the variety competitions.
Chief guests like Upendra Nayak,Udupi taluk panchayat,Rama Kulal vice president,Udupi taluk panchayat,businessman Perdur Shantarama Sooda,Shreenivasa Acharya,SDMC president, camp administrator B.D.Manjunath,Panchayat,panchayat members like Shreepada Rai,Ramananda,chief lecturer S.Padmalata and amongst others were present.
NSS unit leader Sachin welcomed the gathering, Swati compered and Ranjitha Shetty proposed a vote of thanks.
