Bantwal, Oct. 12: The district in charge minister Ramnath Rai distributed the cheque of Rs. 1 Lakh as compensation to Vasanthi on behalf of her husband Mahesh Gawda who lost his life when he was in the work of agriculture. The cheque was given by the Agricultural department.
Bantwal taluk assistant agricultural director Shivshankar H, Danegondar and technical officer Nandan Shenoy P were present.
