Absconding Prisoner Isubu Moilar Arrested at Kerala

Bantwal, Oct 11: A prisoner who had escaped while on parole has been arrested at Malappuram in Kerala on October 11, Friday.

The arrested man is Isubu Moilar alias Yusuf Musliyar hailing from Rangelu in Panemangalore.

Based on a tip-off, Bantwal police had gone to Malappuram and nabbed him with the help of Kerala police.

He was sentenced to a life term in prison for murdering his second wife Mariamma in 2005 and then throwing her undressed dead body to Phalguni River in Gurpura.

Mangalore sessions court which investigated the case convicted him of murder and sentenced him to life imprisonment. Hence, he was lodged in Hindalga prison in Belgaum. Recently, Isubu had obtained parole for 45 days to see visit his sick mother and on July 20, he came back home.

Isubu was supposed to go back to jail on September 4, but he went absconding. In this regard, jail superintendent had filed a complaint with Bantwal city police.
