Udupi;Oct 11: Addressing the all religion peace meet on account of Sharadotsava and Bakhrid at Gangolli police station,Kundapur DYSP,C.B.Patil said in his address that a stringent action will be taken against the miscreants, those who want to create trouble, disturbance in the society to spoil the peace.
Former prominent leader of the Mandala Sadananda Shenoy,while speaking said that whenever any untoward incidents happens in any part of the district, the same has to be intimidated to police before taking law into their hands. Then only peace can be ensured in the society. Besides, whenever we are celebrating festivals, we have to ensure that no pain is inflicted to others because of our celebration.
Toufiq Abdulla, president of Navunda Muhiyuddin Juma Masjid, Vice president B.S.Moideen, Laxmikantha Madival from Sharadotsava Samiti, District Panchayat former vice president Raju Devadiga, prominent leaders from different organizations like Zainul Abidin Nakuda, Surendra Kharvi, Hangarkatte Abdul Hamid, Y.Suresh Kharvi, Police station administrator Sampath Kumar and among others were present.
