Karkala: Encouragement to farmers by providing reaping machines

Karkala; Oct 09: While speaking Naveen Chandra Jain, President of taluk Bharatiya Sangha said that by way of providing cutting machine to farmers, Bharatiya Kissan Sangha has come forward to give prominence for agriculture, he said.

He further said that due to unseasonable rains and acute labor problem in coastal region traditional paddy cultivation is on the verge of cataclysm, most of the farmers are not evincing interest and under the circumstance, in view of preserving paddy cultivation in the district, Bharatiya Kisan Sangha has been trying in various ways for the last one year.

Responding to our efforts Hiriadka Suresh Nayak by providing reaping machine to farmers, now farmers have shown interest in preserving paddy cultivation in the region. Due to all the committee members of Bharatiya Kisan Sangha and agriculturist Suresh Nayak’s special interest, this year by arranging more cutting machines, solution for the problems has been discovered. Suresh Nayak is already ready for providing reaping machines.

Since the price of fuel and spare parts has been increased, this time paddy plant cutting, on the basis of availability of paddy after minimum discount, Nayak has agreed to provide the machine for Rs 2000-2200 per hour. This machine can cut one acre of paddy plants in one hour.
