Mangalore, Oct.7: The Tulunadu’s Dattha Peeta famed Shri Gurudevadatha Samsthanam Sri Dathanjaneya Kshetra Dakshina Ganigapura Odiyoor will celebrate Vijaya Rajatha Sambrama – 2014 on February 7,8 and 9.Related to this a Mangalore Unit was inaugurate at Facility Building near Mangala Nursing Home at Kadri Road here on Monday Oct.7.
The unit was inaugurated by Gurudevananada Swamiji of Shri Gurudevadatha Samsthanam.
Swamiji said that the main aim of celebrating the Vijaya Rajatha Sambrama is to protect the Tulu language, culture and Tulu region.
He further said to live a pleased, peace and wealthy life and to give awareness of the Tulu culture and to save Tulu region this celebration is must he said.
The committee decided to make the Tulu language awareness without political interference. Regarding to this 3 Ratha will come to spread the awareness.
In the presidential of Hariprasad Rai Bellppady the Ratha (Badakayi Teru) will come to Mangalore from Barkur Udupi on January 5th. On December 25th with the initiation of Umanath Kotain the chariot (Moodayi Teru) will come to Mangalore to Sullia.
On Deember 27th the chariot (Tenkayi Ther) will come to Mangalore from Chandragiri, Kasargod with the initiation of I Subbayya Rai said the swamiji. The places where the chariot arrives the programmes like tulu discussion, literature, Tulu poem; folk poem writing will be conducted.
Prior to the programme on January 5th, “Tulu Nadda Jatre” a Tulu festival will be held at Nehru Maidan Mangalore. The Dharmadhikari ok Dharmasthala D. Veerendra Hegde, Udupi Pejavara Swami will participate in the programme.
Swamiji also spoke about diversion of Netravathi River he said that it will affect the development of the district. So that it’s better to leave that project. The Swamiji spoke n tulu throughout the programme.
