Mangalore, Oct.7: Dakshina Kannada District Badminton organization, association with Manipal University and Karnataka Badminton organisation organized 69th South zone interstate badminton championship at Marena Indore Sports Complex at Athavar.
The sports minister K. Abhaychandra Jain inaugurates the championship. MLA J.R.Lobo, vice chancellor of Manipal University Prof. V. Surendra Shetty, secretary of Karnataka Badminton Association N.C. Sudhir, the director of the programme Shashidhar Hegde, Naveen D’Souza, Ivan Pinto, Ashok D.K., Basheer K, Dr. Kemaraj, Father were present.
Totally 120 students from Karnataka, Kerala, Andrapradesh, Tamilnadu, Pandicheri were participating in the tournament.
