Udupi ; Oct 06: Congress Seva Dal,Udupi, a sub unit of National Congress, has organized a street plays to create an awareness about UPA government’s various projects like, food security bill, employment guarantee project, right to know act, education right act and land acquisition-compensation, rehabilitation act.
The plays were performed in places like near new bus stand, Santhekatte market and Shastri circle by a team of artists from State renowned, famous Ninasam, Murari Kasargod team.
The responsibility of performing this street play across the district was taken by congress Seva Dal prominent leader Ashok Kumar Kodavur.
Block congress president Malyadi Shivarama Shetty,Secretary Narayana Achar,Mahila block congress president Jyothi.V.Puthran,Yuva congress zonal president Vikas Hegde,CMC former vice president Jacob D’Souza,Devaki Sannayya,CMC members Chandrashekara Kharvi,Shridhar Sheregar,Prabhakara Kodi,city congress vice president Chandrasekhar Shetty,senior congressman Shivarama Puthran,Kota block former president Shambhu Poojary and among others were present.
