Karkala; Sept 28: After launching the three days workshop organized by Nitte technical university’s MCA division in co-ordination with HP Company and co-sponsored by technical education quality improvement programme (Tekip) New Delhi, Mandar Chitale, MD of HP Company has explained about the open source and usage in accounting field.
Presiding over the function, Dr Ramesh Mithanthaya, college principal said that students should be taught new technology along with daily lessons.
Dr Shreenivas Rao, Vice principal of the college and CEO, Dr K.Mohan Hegde, head of the department, MCA division, Prasad S.G and Roopesh Shantamurthy,from human resource department of HP company were present.
Prof.Karuna Pandit, welcomed the audience, Prof.Mamatha Balipa, convener of the workshop has informed about the workshop, Prof.Sarika Hegde introduced the guests, Prof.Spoorthi P.Shetty proposed vote of thanks, and Prof.Ananthamurthy compered the programme.
