Karkal;Sept 23: It has been decided to form ‘Coconut Producer’s Sangha ‘in Hebri,Mudradi,Nitte and Mundkur village jurisdiction, falls under Karkala taluk limit and in this connection a meeting involving interested coconut growers will be held.
On September 26th, morning at 11.00 am, meeting will be at Hebri Village Panchayat auditorium and on the same day meeting will be held at Mudradi village panchayat auditorium at 2.30 pm.On October 1st, at 11.00 am meeting will be held at Nitte village panchayat auditorium and on the same day at 2.30 pm meeting will be at Mundkur village panchayt auditorium.
Assistant director of district panchayat horticulture department has informed that in order to be member of the Sangha, one should possess minimum of 10 coconut trees. Applicant should submit the application along with required form and RTC.Memebership fee will be Rs 100 per person.
