Kundapur;Sept 20:It has been reported that as a result of fall of broken live electric wire on woman’s body, claimed her life, on Sept 19,Thursday at Bari bail in Siriyara village.
The deceased has been identified as Baby Devadiga, aged 60.
It was said that when the woman was cutting grass in the nearby field, the wire which was passed above the field, got cut off and fell on her body, resulting her death.
Halady Shreenivas Shetty, MLA arrived to the place of incident and brought the matter to the notice of MESCOM senior officer.
Gururaj Suvarna, director, Pranesh, Asst director of Brahmavar MESCOM, Martis, MESCOM investigative officer visited the place of incident.
