Udupi; Sept 20: A giant, measuring around 12 feet long python has been captured by reptile expert Paul Salins along with local auto drivers, at under construction building near Mannapalla in Udupi.
On Sept 20, Friday morning, when the building laborers saw this giant python, which came hunting for its prey near the building, called Paul Salins for his help. Paul Salin, who rushed immediately to the spot along with rickshaw drivers, could succeed in capturing the big python.
Thereafter they took python to city’s primary school, in Rajiv Nagar near Manipal and kept it for some time for viewing to the school children and created awareness about the snake to the children and then handed over to forest department authorities.
