Kundapur; Sept 15: It has been reported that a man committed suicide by coming under moving train at Kedoor railway track near Thekkatte on Sept 15, Sunday early morning.
The deceased has been identified as Suresh shetty, aged 40, resident of Vakvadi house, Kedoor Badabettu.
Sources said that basically he is a resident of Halnadu in Ampar and was staying at wife’s house in Kedoor.He has got two children and was working as a labour.It is suspected that he might have come in the night near railway track and committed suicide.
Danger spot: Since three-four incidents have been reported in the past in the same spot, where this incident took place, the people are under apprehension. It has been alleged that steps have been constructed unscientifically for the movement of pedestrians.
Daily thousands of people have to move towards the milk diary, Anganawadi, high schools and market places by crossing this railway track only. The people of this area opined that if the concerned department constructs one fly-over, these types of accidents can be averted in the future.
More than five cases of incidents have been reported in different places of Kundapur in this month alone and most of them are suicide cases.
Although Suresh Shetty’s death case has been suspected as the suicide case, the truth behind his death may be revealed only after getting the post mortem report, it said.
