Udupi;Sept 14 : Addressing the media reporters in the press meet held at Kadiyali BJP office on Sept 14,Saturday,Udaya Kumar Shetty,Zilla BJP president said in his address that government has to pass an order to exempt compulsion on form No 9,11 both in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada district.
He further said that by the time town planning department circulated the circular, election has been announced. In this regard department’s order only pending. Even appeal has also been made to then district in charge by the current MLAs, when BJP was in power. Present urban development department and district in charge also assured to cancel form No 9 and 11 but no action has been taken yet, he regretted.
He also said that BJP will give 15 days’ ultimatum to the congress government to take appropriate measures, failing which, BJP will stage a protest demanding the cancellation of form No 9 and 11, he added
Continuing his speech he said that grama panchayat limit which are not coming under the jurisdiction of town planning, it is very difficult to get abruptly the uniform blue print for the farmers community. Since no documents has been registered in the gram panchayat so far and not in practice so far in both the districts it has become a herculean task even to transact small dealings. Due to this compulsion on form No 9 and 11 even minor lands transaction has become a problem for the farmers, he added
Besides it is very difficult to obtain single plan and form No 9 and 11 for the converted lands. In one grama Panchayat limit around 300-400 land conversion orders will be coming out in a year. In this manner for the lands converted since decade, it is difficult to obtain single plan, he added.
He also added that in udupi district alone out of 146 gram panchayats,more than 40% gram panchayats are coming under coastal’s CRZ control and here no question of land availability and remaining part is rivers and hilly and mountain regions, he said.
