Mulki, Sept.14: In the district level Kho Kho tournament of senior boys and girls section Sagara Hongirana Education Trust and BGS Education Trust Kavoor orderly won Rathera award at Thokuru Tapovana of Nitte education Trust Mulki.
The tournament was organized by the Dr. Ramanna Shetty English Medium School of Thokuru Tapovana(AICS) on Friday September 13.
Shirthady BJRS education trust and Sharada Vidyanikethana Talapady won second prize in boys and girls section. In junior boys and girls section Sagara Hongirana Education Trust won first and SMES school Bramhavara won second Prize in boys and section MRSM Thokuru Education Trust won second place in girls.
Individual Prizes: Chandrashekar, Rajath, Prajwal, Sowmya, Yashwitha, Prarthana, Shree Shail, Indrakumar, Ashwath Narayana, Marvina,Megha, Reshma won individual prizes.
Principal of Shirthadi Bhuvanajyothi Educational Trust Prashanth D’souza, Principal of ITI Y.N. Saliyan, President of PTA Raja Patrao, Principal of Nitte NSM Neetha Kishore, Training Officer of ITI LAkshmikanth, Sports organizer Ganesh Poojary were present at the programme.
Principal of AICS Shreelatha Rao welcomed. Sushma Karkada gave vote of thanks.
Students from Shimoga, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi participated in the tournament. Suresh, Karthik, Chandrashekar, Shankar, Vikram, Balachandra, Vinod, Nithin, Nandan, Aboobakkar Siddik, were the judges.
Inauguration: The tournament was inaugurated by V.N. Salian of Ramakrishna Poonja IndustrialTraining Center. Raja Patrao, Ganesh Poojary, and Neeta Kishor were present.
