Karkala; Sept 07: The farmers, who have been under bewilderment for the past fifteen days due to the absence of rains, are happy again with the arrival of rains since today morning.
Since today morning it was a cloudy sky across the taluk and reported it was profusely raining in places like Hebri, Ajekar, Karkala, Bajegoli, Bailur and Belman along with other parts.
The fields which have been dried up due to the absence of rains since fifteen days and due to today’s torrential rains, farmers have breathed a sigh of relief and are happy. But people are who are getting prepared for Ganesh festival celebration might face some problems due to rains. Those who have been suffering from heat, may get some cool now.
