Malpe; September 01: It has been reported that a youth tourist from Bangalore came to Malpe beach on August 31, Saturday along with three friends for amusement, met with watery grave.
The deceased has been identified as Alexander,aged 26, a resident of Koramangala,Bangalore and unmarried, came along with his three other friends to Malpe beach for amusement on August 31,Saturday after noon.
Sources said that when three of his friends went to nearby hotel to fetch some eatables,Alexander,got into the sea and has started playing in the water.As he was proceeding towards deep sea,while he was playing ,he was caught up in the strong wave and met with watery grave.
Although fishermen, who were nearby, tried their best to save him, all their efforts went in vain and could not save him.
The dead body has been shifted to udupi district hospital’s mortuary.Malpe police have registered a case in this regard.
