Karkala: Minister Sorake inaugurates special skill training centre at Nitte

Identify the talent in students and provide the education accordingly

Karkala;August 31 : After inaugurating the  “ Special skill training centre” organized by  under the sponsorship of  government  and in association with Nitte Maralinga Adyanthaya memorial technical University,Vinaya Kumar Sorake,minister  for urban development and Udupi district in charge said in his address that it would be more beneficial in the future, if we do some other courses along with our degree courses.


He further said that by identifying the talents, skill in students in the beginning itself and provide education as per their taste, we can improve their opportunities in the society, he added.


With co-operation of parents and teachers students from both Udupi and Dakshina Kannada brought laurels to the districts. Due to this, union government’s human resource department has recognized these both districts as number one in place.


Besides he also said that apart from medical and engineering education, we have to explore an opportunity by giving appropriate training and motivation in other fields like IAAS, IPS, and IFRA etc. He called upon the students community to avail this government sponsored facility and utilize it in a proper way and render your service in the society after obtaining an employment.


N Vinaya Hegde, chancellor of Nitte University and president of the Nitte education institution has inaugurated the newly constructed Computer centre and blessed.


After inaugurating the first training centre,AbdulRazak,MD of Industrial developmental Mandali said in his speech that through interested institions,we have been organizing  training to enhance the skill, talents since 2008.Main purpose of this training is to enhance the skill, talent and to get an employment and come in the main stream of the society, he said.

Presiding over the programme V Sunil Kumar, MLA said in his address that this is pro-people project by the government and arrangement has been made to reach the people through respective institutions and by availing complete benefit of this project, create an opportunity for getting an employment.

Smt Mamatha R Shetty,deputy president of zilla panchayat after releasing the news bulletin she suggested to the audience that since proper training is the need of the hour in today’s life, one should utilize the facilities available here in a proper way.

On the occasion a manual by Nitte Udhyamasheelatha unit has also been released.

Smt Rashmi Shetty, Nitte Panchayat president Naveen Kumar, P Nagesh and S G Hegde from district industrial centre were present.

Dr Niranjan N Cheplunikar, Principal of the institution has welcomed the gathering, Vice principal and Dr T Ramesh Mithanthaya, head of the Udhyamasheelatha developmental unit have proposed vote of thanks.
