Manipal; August 27: Udupi constituency’s Yuva congress workers have staged a protest against Sagarika Ghosh, Deputy Editor of CNN-IBN condemning the remarks she made against Prime Minister Dr Manmohand Singh and Rahul Gandhi on August 27, Monday.
Yuva congress party workers staged a protest in front of hotel valley view, where Sagarika was staying and demanded her apology for the remarks she made against prime minister and Rahul Gandhi. Only after hotel management came out and apologized, protestors have withdrawn the protest.
It was said that on August 24, Sagarika Ghosh has made a sarcastic comment against prime minister and Rahul Gandhi in the Manipal School of communication’s discourse programme.
Yatish Karkera,President,Yuva congress,Kushal Shetty,Shantarama Salgaonkar,S Narayana,Murali Shetty,Ganeshraj Saralabettu and among others were present.
