Mangalore, August 25: In the peaceful lane of the new harbour area’ Harbour House’ became an attractive destination for tourists.
The people are rushing towards this bungalow to see the spent childhood day’s memories of Bollywood star King Khan. His fans and school children are becoming happy by seeing it from the outside.
In the interview of the newspaper Sharuk Khan said that his grandfather was a chief engineer in the new harbour and he took birth, spent his childhood days in the Mangalore itself.
After his comment, bungalow became very famous. ‘I was working as a gate keeper in this bungalow, but I didn’t know that the grown child in that bungalow will become a superstar’ said one of the security officers of the new Mangalore harbour.
When Sharuk Khan was a child, his grandfather Iftikar Ahmed was a project officer of the Mangalore harbour. After serving to Shivamogga’s Sharvathi dam, he was appointed as chief officer of NMPT.
From 1963 to 67, he was served as an assistant engineer of NMPT and was a sincere officer, says retired chief engineer Nagesh Maroli. Before the construction of Panambur bungalow he was resided in government quarters near Hat hill. Though he was from Hyderabad, Iftikar was familiar with Kannada, he said.
Sharun Khan’s relation with Mangalore becoming a discussing issue in the web and Iftikar’s car driver Mehamood still resides in the Mangalore area said one of the fans of Sharuk.
Even Sharuk Khan also decided to visit his child hood day’s house of the Mangalore.
