Mangalore, Aug 24, 2013: The new primary radar system will be implemented in Bajpe International Airport to gain the accurate information about to weather and cloud formation for landing aircrafts.
JT Radhakrishna, Director of the Airport said that the Bajpe Airport has only secondary radar which gives information about take off aircraft. But, new primary radar will be exclusively for landing aircrafts, which will helpful to the pilots and ATC and it also, helps to land the more aircraft and reduce the tragedies, he said.
‘The construction of higher technology is under progress and experts’ team will be arriving shortly for connection of primary’, he added.
