ESI hospital: Indefinite hunger strike has finished its fourth day

Mangalore, August 23: ‘Union government must take the full responsibility of E.S.I hospitals and fulfil the workers demand’, urging the issue Akhila Bharatha Karmika sangha’s general secretary Sudatta jain Shirthadi’s indefinite hunger strict moving to its fifth day.

Addressing the gathering Sudatta Jain said that the movement is not from organisation, rather than this is workers movement. There is no politics in this and no other works organisation supported this. Ours protest is against government and not against the institution or organisation. It is not a big issue to fulfil the demand to union government and health protection, employment protection and salary protection are the main demands, he said.

On the occasion visited ESI officials gave the assurance that the motive of the hunger strike will be forwarded to Deputy Commissioner.

Hike from August 25th: If the demand is not fulfilled the organisation will call for hike and every workers organisation will be participating
