Udipi;August 17 : After releasing the report on ‘sale of women and children’ about how to control trafficking of women and children meet on August 17,Saturday at Ambalpadi Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Graaminaabhivriddhi’s Pragathi Soudha auditorim,Pramodh Madhwaraj,MLA said in his address that menace of selling of children and women can be controlled through Sthree Shakthi.
Racket of selling women and children in the district has been continuously happening and instances of stealing the children and selling has also been reported.In this revolution people,Sangha and organizations must co-operate with government, he said.In this context revolution must held in every villages, he added.
Upendra Nayak, President Udipi zilla Panchayat has inaugurated the programme.
