Mangalore, August 16: Due to loosing of control a bus had been felled to 25 ft deep and a passenger took his last breath in the accident at N H 75 route near Thumbe.
The deceased has been identified as Shekar Shetty (60) and in the incident mor than 20 people are injured.
The Sugama private bus was plying towards Mangalore from Bangalore and at 5.15 am the incident took place when it reached to Thumbe. Sources say that due to heavy cargo, bus loosed its control and one of the passengers Brahmavara Chemtharu resident Shekar Shetty was dead, while taking to hospital. The other injures are identified as Gowri Shetty (55), Deepa (24), B.K Nagaraj Baindoor, Prakash Nayak Bhatkala, Mahesh, Vishwaraj, Ramakrishna, Harish (32), Reka(28)Shivaram (27), Jyothi shetty, Shanthi Shetty (34), Devadas, sathish (27), Raghavendra (31) and others are injured.
Bantwal police have filed the complaint.
Angry Against bus owners: The bus related fellows have not met the injured in the bus accident yet. Hence people have got angry against the bus owner.
