Kundapur; August 14: It has been reported that a man identified as Manjunath Poojary, aged 30, a resident of Hombadi-Mandadi, Hunsmakki has ended his life on the railway track near Bobbarya Temple, Kalavara on August 14, Wednesday.
The deceased, son of Eera Poojary was working for a goods transport firm and was staying with his wife and two children. His identity was traced with the help of his election card found in his possession.
Though the reason behind his drastic step is not yet known, sources said that he was addicted to alcohol and had attempted suicide earlier too.
Kundapur police arrived at the spot and the body was shifted to government hospital.
A case has been registered in Kundapur Police station in this regard.
