Mangalore, August 14: A group of people attacked two youth for silly reason at Mogaveerapatna near sea shore and against this action three members group assaulted two youths from Bastipadpu, Ullal. Hence, four people are allegedly injured from the attack and police have tightened the security around the Ullal.
The injured are identified as Kotepura residents Nasir (25) and Ashfak (22), in a response Bastipadpu residents Lathesh (23) and Shahan (25) are badly injured.
Details: At 3.30 a group of people were taking bath in the sea and Nasir and Ashfak were sitting in the sea shore. Suddenly they came up from the water and allegedly beaten the two youths by scolding in the derogatory language. When police visited the spot, the attacker were escaped from the spot and injured were taken to hospital.
Revenge in few hours: To take revenge, three members group hit Lathesh and Shahan from the bottle. The injured were shifted to hospital and both the teams were scolded to each other. Meanwhile, police charged the lathi and maintained the situation.
