Mangalore, August 11: Dubai Billawas and Northern Emirates organised scholarship distribution programme to poor students, here on August 11, Sunday at Kudroli Koragappa Memorial Hall.
After inaugurating the programme former union Minister Janardhan Poojary said that parents are playing a major role to make students as good citizen of the society through the hard work, hence students must inculcate the humility, strictness and sincerity in them and should become a model to others.
Mr Poojary appreciated the contribution of Billawas Dubai and Northern Emirates towards society.
On the occasion in association with Kudroli Shree Gokarnanath Kshetra and Shree Guru Charitable Trust have distributed the scholarship to the nearly 225 poor students, who are pursuing their education in B.D.N.E.U Medicine, Engineering, Nursing, Technology, P.G and Ph. D. Meanwhile talent prize to 8 students, 10 thousand each to 14 ill people and totally 12 lakh had been distributed in the programme.
Legislative assembly member K. Vasantha Bangera, Kudroli Shree gokarnanatha Kshetra president H. S Sairam, Guru Charitable trust president Sadhanada Suvarna, Billawas Dubai general secretary Sudhakara Poojary, Nikata Poorwa president Mohan Attavara, Chief accountant Vittal Poojary and Treasurer Prabhakar Suvarna were present.
