Mangalore, Aug 9: A resident of Thokkotu has committed suicide by keeping his head in the railway track, here on Friday August 9, around 10am.
The deceased is identified as Manikanta (42), and he was working as a security guard in the private institution, near Car Street.
Manikanta was married to Sunitha and reason behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained.
According the sources a note had found in deceased pocket, which says his must be donated to the needy and the remaining to a medical college.
Mangalore railway police have registered a case and Ullal police visited the spot.
