‘Model’ Polyclinics in Mangalore and Ullal ; U. T Khader

Mangalore, August 9: Under National City health campaign, polyclinics will be started at Mangalore and Ullala, said Health and Family welfare minister U. T Khader.

Addressing the presspersons he said that under central government National City health campaign project, a model policlinic will be start in the Mangalore and Ullal and after the success, it will spread to other state also, he said.

Primary health centre to higher level:

Mangalore, Ullala, Bangalore, Mysore and Bagalakote are selected in NUHM. Policlinic is will in the Mangalore and Ullal only and in other side Primary health centre will be empowered to distinction level, he said.

Ullal city sketch is ready; Mangalore in under process:

Nearly Rs.8.6 crore cost’s project will be starts in the Ullal, hence concerned officials have done the investigation and in Mangalore investigation is under process as well as there will discussion with DC. It will include Rs.22 crore cost’s project, he said.

Rs.126.93 crore to state:

Under this project, central government reserved Rs.126.93 crore to the state. Hence this will use to develop the health facilities, he said.

Polyclinic:

The policlinic includes multi specialty medical facilities and every kind of specialists will be available in this. Expert doctors will be paid proper salary based on hours and online systems will be implemented for the details of patients. The concession will be given to poor people without the bias of APL and BPL card holder, he said.
