Udipi; August 07: After monsoon break, fishermen have started deep sea fishing and boats those were all anchored silently on the shore have got into the sea. Brisk fishing trade is started in fish market. Scene of the ice blocks being loaded in trucks in one side for preserving fish from perishing and loading fishing nets inside the boat, is the other scene. These were some of the activities, one could witness in Malpe Bunder.
After offering pooja at Kodavoour village deity (Grama Devta) on August 04 fishermen started their fishing activities.100 Persian, 500 fishing and around 600 deep sea trawler boats were ready for fishing. Some of the boats have already started fishing.
Though fishermen reported loss in country made boat business during monsoon, fishermen are expecting good catch in deep sea fishing at least.
