Stringent action against cow traffickers; Shri Rama Sene warns

Mangalore, August 4: Illegal Cattle transport and slaughtering are increasing in Dakshina Kannada, but police have failed to bring control over it and earlier this matter caused for communal riots also, said Shri Ram Sena State Vice president Kumar Malemar.

Addressing the media persons Kumar said that Congress government has done an appreciable work by carrying ban on cow slaughtering. However, the illegal slaughtering has increased drastically in the district. Few days ago in Surathkal, some miscreants flashing machete against an old woman forcibly stole her cow and shri rama sene will not tolerate such activity, he said.

‘Though local MLA Mohiyuddin Bava knew about such issue, he did not meet the spot, which creates the doubt. Hence if concerned officials did not arrest the cow traffickers, Shri rama sene will stage a protest across the district, he warned.

Ganesh Attavara, Mahesh Bhat,Mohan Padavingadi and Jeevan Neerumarga were present.
