Mangalore, July 30: Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) alleged that hotels and canteen are increasing the food prices according to their wish; hence customers are suffering from these increased rates.
Addressing the media persons DYFI district president Muneer kaatipalla said that hotels owners are increased the rates of meals, tea, snacks and cold drinks, where it affects the common labourers and owners are imposing biased rates in the name of costly raw materials. Hence district jurisdiction should implement equable rates, otherwise in association other organisations, severe protest will be staged, he warned.
District Secretary Dayananda Shetty, Vice President Mahabala Deppellimaru, City president B K Imthiyaz, Secretary Santhosh Bazal were present.
