Kundapura; July 29: It has been reported in Kundapura that a man who came along with 10 member team, identified as Thimma, originally from Sirsi for amusement in the famous Maravanthe Sea in the Kundapura taluk was entangled in between the strong waves of the sea was struggling for his life on July 28, Sunday.
A young man identified as Dhamu Jagannatha Kharvi, resident of Kanchigod, who was watching the scene rushed to spot and by jumping into the sea, saved Thimma from drowning and thus Kharvi saved Thimma from the jaw of the death.
Locals and public have appreciated and lauded Kharvi for his act of bravery.
Though the banners have been erected in the area with the warning “ Don’t play in the sea water during monsoon” ignoring the warning and other people’s advise, people are venturing into the deep sea water and entangled in danger and inviting danger for them, said Kharvi
